Not my favorite SACD! I found the DVD to have better sound and it was a lot cheaper.

Another missed opportunity. The performances are great, the musicianship is top-notch, but the soundboard person was asleep at the wheel here. The acoustics cannot be blamed, since the Paramount is the premier live venue in Seattle. This recording is clipping all over the place. Somebody snorted way too much coke.

Oh well, a very nice performance ruined by a terrible recording. It should have been great... the performance is very, very good, the recording sucks, the result: five points.

It is a live show so I wasn't expecting much from this release.
I have to say that it is not as bad as folk are saying....imo.
Slightly base heavy but there are sporadic elements in the rears.
Although mostly echo and reverb I admit.
When you have your ear up close to each rear speaker to see if there is separation, then you know the mix is not quite as you would like it.
So maybe an 8 is a tadge too high.
7 it is.
