This time i'm realizing my dumbness... anyway...
i don't remember how to tell the decoder there's NO central speaker. I don't have the manual now (it's packed into some box somewhere...).

On the front panel of the decoder unit, push the Speaker Mode button (the one on the extreme right of the unit) and hold it for more than two seconds. The display will show the center speaker current mode (off or on). To change, push and hold the button again to toggle the selection. BTW if you just push and release the button quickly, this will toggle the sub-woofer on or off) Hope this helps.
