Maybe a bit obscure, but try
Jah Wobble's "Rising Above Bedlam" CD, 1991
and
for some jazz-minded
Merl Saunders (with Jerry Garcia) "Blues From the Rainforest" CD, 1990
There's my contribution to the board for the weekend.
Interestingly, when playing Jah Wobble, on the track "Relight the Flame", female vocals come out slightly front-left of center played thru QS Synth, but front-right of center when played thru Space Image Composer synth. (no, cables not reversed and other instruments are palced the same in both). Maybe how the Tate handles the phase relationships on that song vs. Sansui. Other tracks have differences, but not as clear as that one.
Any thoughts from those of u with both decoders?
