Dear Surround folk
As all QQ members who have been following us for several years will know Involve Audio has a “master plan” of world conquest not restricted to just the sale of the Surround Master.
We firmly believe that there has been little true advancement is audio since the advent of the CD (some would say that was not an advancement!) or worse the dreaded MP3 format. We have done considerable development trying to really shake up an otherwise stagnant industry.
We have finally completed our development program and we have established the following:
1 The Involve encode/ decode system that we believe has the widest format cross compatibility and is readily broadcast universally.
2 Our Sweet Spot Technology (SST) eliminates the need for a centre channel and reduces the surround setup to just 4 speakers. The listener can sit anywhere within the room with near perfect imaging.
3 We have dramatically increased the output and performance of flat panel electrostatic loudspeakers. Our panels are 3 to 6 mm thin, rugged and are low cost to manufacture.
4 We have packaged our technologies in the basic Y2 stereo system and fully in the exceptional Y4 surround system, ready for volume manufacture.
We understand we are currently a small voice crying out in the wilderness on the ridiculousness of current 5, 7, 9, 11, 22, 60 channel surround systems and note that still today the number one format is stereo. Our tests have shown Involve stereo is indistinguishable from stereo and the resultant surround decode is preferred by test audiences to 5.1 and 7.1 systems.
We are currently gearing up for volume manufacture and sales of our Y2 and Y4 systems, Pro Encoders, (and another product which is not announced outside QQ) yet, but ultimately we will be a licensing company of all our surround technologies.
I understand some of the claims above are bold claims but members of QQ who have auditioned our technologies either at our factory or have purchased a Surround Master all seem to agree that we are leader and have been able to achieve what others have not. .
INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY
With our plan to enter the next phase of volume manufacture and international marketing we are seeking private investors in our company. We have completed our start-up round ($2.2 million) of financing and we are now seeking qualified investors for our seed round funding ($US1.5 million). This will be used to build revenues and value in anticipation of an A round ($US4.5 million) within the next 18 months.
To date, our investments have been in sums of $75,000 to $500,000. There are not that many investors yet and we hope that our ability to prove what we have will entice the right investors for the right reasons.
As we are now largely finished with R&D and have begun to market our products and technologies, we intend to use the seed round of funding to increase the value of the company by marketing our products and increasing revenues prior to the A Round.
We are giving a 25% percent discount on the price of the A round to our seed round investors, as described in the convertible note.
We believe our current growth potential and future valuation leaves buyers of our Series A Preferred Stock the opportunity for substantial upside if we are acquired.
The minimum investment is $50,000 and we offer all QQ members the opportunity to join us in this manner or alternatively if you find any investors for us we will give you a free Y4 surround system. For larger investment amounts we will reward appropriately.
If you decide to come on board, you will be joining an exceptional group of early investors, founders and team members who believe we are in possession of something very valuable and unique.
