The question you pose ("Is 7.1 enough?") recalls J.D. Rockefeller, who, when asked "How much money is enough money?", replied, "Just a little more".

Getting another sub would make it "just a little more".

(Full disclosure: I love Chris Squire's playing, so the more bass that hits my chest and makes my lungs resonate, the better).
