I would say it's much better not to do anything with DVD4Music.com in the first place.

I placed two orders worth 125.50 GBP and 136.24 GBP in December 2010, but received only two items worth 34.50 GBP (both in reality and according to the DVD4Music website) in the following few months. After some e-mail exchanges I had to initiate chargeback requests. Then the merchant issued a refund only for the earlier (125.50 GBP) order. He still owes me a partial refund worth 101.74 GBP ( = 136.24 GBP minus 34.50 GBP).

I have the partial chargeback request with VISA pending for three months. (My credit company says that the merchant is still contesting my request, claiming that all of the 136.24 GBP order has been fulfilled normally!!! This is absurd!)

The best way to handle this - use visa/mc chargeback system; if they will happen more than e-shops average have, then DVD4Music will be disconnected from payment network. Google and consult your bank.

Stay well clear from this site, was going to order some rare title's until checked the web and UK forums. Glad I didn't and I'am surprised its still in business if this is the type of thing they practice.

I'm from Hong Kong and is new in this forum (my English is not very well). I want to buy out-of-print Esoteric SACD which not found anywhere but accidentally find DVD4Music has all titles of this label. I am very happy but also wondered why they have all out-of-print titles. So I send a request to them to seek their confirmation whether these titles are back-order, however, no response so far. Then I search the web for any information on this site and luckily find some forum which I note that most of the music-lovers have had bad experience with DVD4Music. I guess that they only a web base agent, they display all current issue of music media or some issued within 5 years. When they get order, they can first charge the credit card and order the media from various distributors or dealers. So that they need not to have working capital, they only need little money to host the site. So some music-lovers get their order as there are still stocks but some not, because of long time out-of-print. I think I would not try to place the order, except that they accept Paypal and with confirmation of in stock advice sent for requesting payment.

Waiting for confirmation of what is in stock seems like a logical step for most businesses but do not hold your breath. I ordered 8 titles, was told that not all were available but were on order. I said just tell me which ones you have and I'll pay for them. Several emails later it was obvious they had none and insisted on a refund to my credit card which was issued. Honestly I believe you will be wasting your time.

I was trying to find a copy of the E.T. Soundtrack multi channel, and came across dvd4music.com....stating item in stock, for ÂŁ48. ( couldn't believe it !! ??....especially, when you might be lucky to find one copy for $400 !! ) so googled their name, and found all these bad experiences with them. I'm just thankful i saw all this feedback, could have been a costly mistake if i'd gone ahead and placed an order.

that guy is a shyster.

he ripped me off years ago - and he has ripped off LOADS of others, including a good few QQ members.

he doesn't have any of it in stock, he purportedly tries to get it for you, after he's taken your money.

he should be in jail for fraud.

Well I'm off to a great start with my DVD-A collecting (Not)

Before I found this site, and thread I ordered some DVD-A's from this "Simon"

Now in process of recovering the money......

If only I'd discovered this thread before. I feel so stupid :worthy

ah!! never mind! look around at thrift stores, gargage sales, used bins etc. You'll find gems in there and cheap. The avg person may not know what they have. I ask at garage sales about quad/and HR formats and get a look as if I was speaking martian. Salvationarmy stores, goodwill etc.

I was thinking about this site (dvd4music) and the thieves (Simon Draper and crew) that operated it. The other day I remembered before I signed up here I was going to relate my horror story. I think it's good for newbies to know what some of us went through to try and get our hands on a golden ring so to speak or that elusive title. Besides a shady disc operation there was also a guy who promoted himself as a quad equipment repair specialist (quadbob) who absconded with many of the units sent to him for repair.
But this is about the disc site and Simon
I also got taken for roughly $200 usd. They're site looked amazing and every title was in stock (not). You only were aware after an abnormally long wait. I didn't have to wait as long, because my bank notified me about purchases that caused a red flag. I'm not sure if Simon and his Wife/girlfriend made a card with his name and my credit card numbers or posed as me. Seems that 2 people used my card numbers and took the Chunnel to France and also booked themselves into a five star hotel in Paris (Friday). My bank of course then knew it was fraudulent and notified the Paris Hotel which in turn had called the authorities to apprehended the culprits for credit card fraud.
On the ensuing Monday I called to speak to Simon Draper and gave the female on the phone a piece of my mind after Simon was unavailable (jailed in Paris). And she had the nerve to complain about me calling them thieves. Ha.....The Bank was happy to catch him and it was the start of Drapers new prison career. There used to be an address with his website and I looked up the location on Google maps and thought if I was ever in England I was most definitely going to look him up and show him a little Detroit justice. That would've been so much fun.....🤛👊
