That is an unusual reference...wealthy bourgeoisie....bourgeoisie refers to the middle class...unless you are a Marxist

Is pizza very popular in your area?
Definitely popular here in AU:

There’s 7 pizza restaurants within about 2km from me. I usually order from one of 3 for delivery. Many pubs here also have pizza on the menu.

Thanks for the reference to your earlier post. It doesn't surprise me that it's as popular in Oz as it is everywhere else. But I was kinda surprised at the inclusion of an egg. So I found this:

I gotta admit it looks pretty good. I would sure give it a try.

dominos and westside are the only two pizza proprietors in my little town. i will take what i can get. but dominos has the benefit of being typically 1/2 the price of the other guy. i have had authentic italian pizza before, from a place in the big city called farelli's. expensive but good.

I lived in Chicago for the first 60 years of my life and I'm Italian so I'm pretty fussy about my pizza.
In ChiTown we have Salarnos in a few different locations but there's also at least a half dozen I would altar going to.
Now down here in Florida there's a Chicago based pizza called Giordano's that makes excellent stuffed or regular pizza.
I also just learned of a local Central FL based chain called Marco's, great stuff!
Just cheese and Italian sausage please, no garbage on my pie.
