it is kinda weird, from what i can make out all the rest could potentially be Q8.

did you ask the seller for more pics of the Janis Ian tape?

i'd also ask about the Jim Nabors while you're at it (highly unlikely but..) it may just be another rogue Q8 out of nowhere!!

I wouldn't assume the seller is being nefarious. It may have been in that slip cover when it came to him. Lots of people don't know anything about quad.

True. There are Columbia slip covers on RCA tapes, so who knows what's what. Heck, I saw some sellers selling just Q8 sleeves and they were getting big bucks for them - without the tape!
