Jimi !!!!

Has anyone heard ANYTHING about Jimi Hendrix on SACD/DVD-A?? I think some of the material (especially AXIS:BOLD AS LOVE) would sound great in 5.1

Jimi always heard his stuff in 3D in his head, so I think it would be perfect....but they would HAVE to get Eddie Kramer to do it...no one knows the material better.

I remember WAY BACK there was supposed to be a CD-4 released of one of his LPs. I have to check Mark Anderson's site to see if I am imagining things.........

That would be Jimi Hendrix - Crash Landing as listed in the Schwann record & tape catalog in 1975. Same list that also showed these:
