So, if anyone ended up buying the "box set" from John Prine, can you please comment on the quality of the audio? It's remastered, which honestly, frightens the hell out of me. Currently, there is only a CD version and then you can download 96/24 at Acoustic Sounds for $67.98, or you can get the 192/24 for $91.98
Do I assume that the dynamic range (which I haven't heard what that is) on the CD is the exact same as the 2 download options? Or, is there a chance that the 192/24 version is a higher quality? Seems I recall a conversation about some Van Halen downloads that reserved the best dynamic range for the more expensive 192/24 version.
