Produced by Creed Taylor in 1969 shortly before he broke away from A&M and established CTI as an independent entity, Walking in Space was released in quad only on 8-track tape in 1973 in the US, Canada and UK.

Wiki for the album: Walking in Space

(Note that the running order of the Q8 is different than the original stereo LP.)

Side 1:
  1. Dead End
  2. Walking in Space
Side 2:
  1. Killer Joe
  2. Love and Peace
  3. I Never Told You
  4. Oh Happy Day

I didn't know there was a quad mix of this album. I have the CD and the music itself is great, kind of fusion-y and tuneful. Title song and Killer Joe are especially good IMO. Does very well with both quad synth & modern upmixers. So I would expect a discrete quad version to be very creative (y)

Too bad it's only on Q8 which I've never had even in a car! Wish there was an SQ/QS/CD4 LP; I'd seek it out in a heartbeat. I have the quad LP of Body Heat and IMHO Walking in Space is better music, for me anyway ;)
