Hmm, I see not much interest in TJ around here...ah well, such is fame! :D

But I know this album well, having been a fan since "It's Not Unusual." The problem with Tom's later albums is that the material, in general, isn't as strong as it once was, although his performances still strong, but without ace material, he's often just another voice. What I wish had happened was that a hits comp had been put out in quad, because some of the later stuff, like "Daughter of Darkness" and "She's a Lady" would have worked nicely in quad, IMO. Not sure about some earlier stuff, but what the hell, like so many pop acts, his singles always outshone most of his album cuts, and it was rare that he let that voice really loose on something savage (which he occasionally did on his TV show).

a '7' here, good mix but middling material.
