I don't see any need to pre-order. This isn't a title that is likely to sell out quickly. I'd rather wait for the reviews from you guys before deciding ;)

I had picked up this on Blu Ray when it first came out about 10 years ago - I'm pretty sure it's out of print but may be available from the usual sources for an exorbitant amount. A reunion show of sorts at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, the alma mater of several band members. It notably features a few tracks with former members Steve Morse and Kerry Livgren. The band is backed up by the Washburrn University Symphony Orchestra. Excellent PQ and audio. The LPCM 5.1 Mix is standard live concert style but overall a worthwhile addition to my library.

You can view the complete show on Youtube.

I'm holding off ordering this at the moment. Per the Kansas website there are 3 versions:

https://www.kansasband.colortestmer...wiYHaxOp1gBciUQPl7xL5-dGdIIVcilacm_fZBCJeQz2w
CD - $15
Deluxe digipack (CD & 5.1 Audio Bluray) - $19
Deluxe artbook (CD & 5.1 Audio Bluray) - $60

The Deluxe digipack version I guess is the one that is $18.99 at Amazon.com.
The Burning Shed listing with the bluray is £33.99 and is described as the Artbook.

I'm therefore waiting until I see the cheaper Deluxe digipack version listed anywhere in the UK.

Soooo, actually, it appears there are two editions of CD+5.1 blu-ray:
1) 6 panel digipak, priced around $19.00

Let me get this straight.

$19 CD & Bluray (contains 5.1)
$60 CD & Bluray (contains 5.1 and 96/24 hi res stereo) and a book

Why the heck didn't they put the 96/24 hi res stereo also on the $19 version? Not that I ever listen to the stereo, but I would certainly consider it in this case as I've never heard this album.

It wouldn't be the first time two different discs of the same type were authored for different editions of the same release (e.g. ELP Trilogy deluxe vs. super deluxe), but somehow, I doubt the discs will be any different in this case. If the listings are different, I imagine that's just an oversight.

Yeah, maybe you're right. Hope so. I pre-ordered the $19 version. Honestly surprised it's that cheap.

That’s a great price for Kansas, but by the time I add shipping then convert to CDN dollars it's pretty close to the Amazon Canada presale price

Had an email from the Shed saying the release is delayed, not by much though.
