Maybe the band wanted the mixes that way, or maybe they didn't care and just let him get on with it.
Either way they have been working with him for almost 2 years now, so he wouldn't be able to continue to work with the group if the band and their label did not approve of his work.

So just so I fully understand, the original (defective) DVDA was sealed inside the set and the replacement DVDA was also included too?
If so, that's pretty good. 2 DVDA copies for the price of one!
