My surround journey has led me to an artist I’ve never listened to before now—Bonnie Koloc. In some ways she reminds me of Grace Slick and sometimes Judy Collins. More to the point, on her own, she is a very talented singer who I now enjoy very much. I’m fascinated that these Ovation recordings were mixed in quadraphonic at The Quadraphonic Studios in Nashville Tennessee. I would like to know more about that. I’ve listened to three albums by Bonnie Koloc and enjoyed them all. The mixes are very good. I don’t think that these 4.0 mixes were ever released on any other format. Bonnie Koloc is like a diamond in plain sight.
