I keep on buying DualDiscs without high resolution and this one is ok but the music and surround mix are nothing special.

I liked the album in CD, but this is a very poor 5.1 adaptation. The guitars are buried in the mix. The Center contain almost only the vox and the kick-drum, even if I lower the center volume to the lower on my amp, it's still too loud. Stay away from this one, especially if you like the band, you will be disapointed.

I hate it. I put it in my Sony changer, and it lost its grip and spun out and scratched it all up to hell. So I never got to hear it. I really wish they would give me a non-DualDisc alternative to hearing this.

I mixed it, but it was encoded so wrong that I don't even know what happened!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds Nothing like the raw soundfiles.

Shame this one was ruined.
It is a shame, ThomC's done some great surround mixes over the years...

Alicia Keys - Songs In A Minor (DVD-A),
Backstreet Boys - Never Gone (DualDisc),
Beyonce - Dangerously In Love (SACD),
Destiny's Child - Survivor (SACD),
Destiny's Child - Fulfilled (DualDisc),
Jessica Simpson - In This Skin (DualDisc),
Kelly Rowland - Simply Deep (SACD),
Luther Vandross - Dance With My Father (DVD-A),
Mary Mary - Invincible (SACD),
Pink - I'm Not Dead (DualDisc),
Vivian Green - A Love Story (SACD).

I just listened to the Beyonce one this weekend. Very natural sounding; great dynamics. It sound almost 'dry' if you know what I mean. Her vocals sounds authentic, no processing or ridiculous EQ. Great sound. Shame the same team couldn't of done the recent Soundgarden release.

This album would of been great I am sure if not somehow ruined.

I know exactly what you mean. At that stage of the game Sony and Philips had dream teams doing their Surround SACDs with people like Thom Cadley, Frank Fillipetti and Ronald Prent doing the mixing, Darcy Proper and Woody Pornpitaksuk doing the mastering... when both labels shut down their SACD operations all those very talented, highly skilled and v.capable people went off to pursue other things sadly.
