The Doobie Brothers- Sibling Rivalry
An odd album in some ways due to the singing and songwriting outside the normal core (by Keith Knudsen and John McFee). The songs are fine but don’t sound like the Doobies. Tom Johnston’s stuff is good especially “Rocking Horse” which is killer

Blue Cheer ‎– Outsideinside

"A bracing & scorching orgy of volume, distortion and aggression.
While the rest of the rock world was mellowing out and embracing the spirit of the Summer of Love, the seminal San Francisco power trio was churning out ballsy blues-rock anthems whose fuzz-heavy, adrenaline-charged intensity helped to alter the course of contemporary music"

Porcupine Tree ‎– Nil Recurring EP
This can be also be found on the excellent Fear of a Blank Planet DVD-audio

"The instrumental title track opens the disc with six minutes of heavy riffing, featuring King Crimson guitarist, Robert Fripp, on lead guitar.
"Normal", the second track, is undoubtedly the most interesting song on Nil Recurring. A complete reworking of the Blank Planet track "Sentimental".
"Cheating the Polygraph"
is another rocker, one that pulls back and forth between hard distorted guitars with soaring vocals and more subdued bluesy sections.
"What Happens Now?" closes the disc out with something a little more reminiscent of 1990's Porcupine Tree. It's powered by atmospheric clean guitars and subtle washes of synthesizer"

Cabaret Voltaire ‎– Micro-Phonies
Album details - Dynamic Range Database

"While dwelling in the shadowy, murkier side of industrial/noise experimentation, here Cabaret Voltaire make their equally justified claim at fully kickstarting the beat-heavy crunch.
Flood's sympathetic co-production with the band is another feather in his cap, and the album sound
s
just as strong today as it did upon its release"
