The Sugarcubes -
here today, tomorrow next week!

Weird is the only word to describe this. And quirky.
The music is fine but the lyrics (and Einar’s “singing”) are strictly WTF.
Not saying that’s bad, just….weird.

Didn’t know Brave Belt II had been released on CD.
There was a Brave Belt 2-fer here in Canada on the Bullseye label (they reissued quite a bit of old Cancon) but, if I’m not mistaken, it was a needle drop. Maybe just rumour ?

Edit: a trip through Discogs tells me Wounded Bird released a 2-fer as well.
I’ll seek out the Bullseye, it’ll have much better graphics.

Bullseye seems good to me. Vinyl and 2ch 8tk are the only comparisons I had. Vs. another CD, your guess is as good as mine!?!

Personally, I'd take the chance on Wounded Bird. There wasn't a choice when I bought mine. Wounded Bird might be more likely to be from an earlier generation of tape. I've had excellent luck with dozens of their releases. They seem to have a good relationship w/WEA.

Check their DR numbers.

My spins:

Yian - Lucinda Chua
Live at Velfarre - Earth, Wind & Fire Japan only CD
Belo Horizonte - John McLaughlin
Paragon - Floor Jansen
In-A-Gadda-da-Vida (lenticular cover) - Iron Butterfly
Trees of the Ages - Laura Nyro Live in Japan
