You all got me thinking about this Chicago Carnegie Hall set.
Stop it!
I can’t afford or justify it ….LOL

Im in the same boat - then 2 realizations hit ---- 1) I dont need to justify my passion, my hobby - and 2) Its only money and ya cant take it with you when you die.

I will be ordering. Afterall, its rock-n-roll with horns !!

Spooky Tooth - The Last Puff

Spooky Two is generally considered to be their best but I think I like this one just as much.
Sounds better than the previous albums too.

"It's a story heard behind the scenes in studios over the years -- the young kid hanging around doing odd jobs ends up being the next great producer after making the right connections and rising through the ranks.
But on occasion, that young kid (Trent Reznor) ends up becoming an iconic musician"

Billy Idol EP (4 tracks)
DD Verni (Overkill bassist) doing some swing, pretty much sounds like a hot rodded Brain Setzer so rather fun

Spooky Tooth - You Broke My Heart...So I Busted Your Jaw

An OK album, the rockier tracks outshine the slow ones.
Significant step back in sound quality from the previous album.
Murky, has me wondering if that's the original production (this was their first self produced effort after using Jimmy Miller) or the condition/origin of the tapes.

Spooky Tooth - Witness

All the songs are upbeat rock, most are good: maybe their most consistent album.
Again self produced it has the same murky sound as the previous record.
