Miles of Aisles is bringing me piles of smiles . . . and not a few tiers of tears. Simply beautiful.

Eleventh Dream Day - Zeroes and Ones

Really like this Chicago band but hadn’t played any of their music in ages.
This album from 2006 is quite low/fi but that doesn’t hold it back, it’s good, should play it more often.

Eleanor McEvoy

First album from way back in ‘93.
She’s young (26) and her voice hasn’t matured yet. The Irish accent so noticeable in later recordings is barely there.
Best song IMO is one of the 4 bonus tracks: Wilderness, a B-Side
The sound, remastered in 2003 for this release, is OK but borders on harsh in places

wOw! Just finished Looks Like Rain from this Mickey Newbury collection. Lemme co-opt a line from Dave Eggers: this is a haunting work of staggering genius! A DJ spun a cut from the album during a livestream i had on in the background a couple of weeks back. I stopped everything, entranced, and just knew i had to get it. SO glad i did! It's absolutely astounding!

All three discs are really good sonically.
They used to sell the series via digital downloads at Analogue Productions, that stopped. It looks like they are trying to reinvent the downloads via HDTracks, but in the case of these three I purchased the CD's.

Jethro Tull - Heavy Horses

Great album, great bonus tracks and a really enjoyable concert that somewhat mirrors their Bursting Out live album, same tour same songs.
Listened in 24/96 LPCM (can’t find the thread for non Bluray or SACD HiRez).
These Tull sets never cease to impress me.

 Heavy Horses is my wife's favourite Tull album.
