Glad to see this come to Apple at last, even if it's not a noteworthy mix. (It appeared on Tidal just a day after the deluxe box set was released--sans Atmos mix--in October 2020, IIRC. Maybe the mixer credits can be found on Tidal?)wow! great find!
Warners are going for it more lately with Atmos! i wonder who mixed it?

I've been reading & hearing about the new London jazz scene (Shabaka Hutchings, Nubya Garcia, Yazz Ahmed, Moses Boyd) for a few years now, but haven't come across these guys before. Eager to check them out!Jazz fans rejoice. One of the first and only jazz releases that uses all channels! Quite actively by jazz standards.

Yeah I know- hard to believe.
A solid hour recording which tends to get more raucous and improvised as it goes on.
Standout tracks for me are:
10. The prayer.
2. Sandstorm.
3. Loosed.
Track 9 is a full on sonic assault that will test your rig.
Probably the first jazz album I have listened throughout- which says something.
By the way- crank it up. I listened to about 5db notches on my amp more than normal on pure audio setting.
Enjoying this oneVery, very British with influences I can hear from ‘Parkliife’- era Blur, The Clash, Joy Division’s bass leanings, and others.
A lively mix. Some will love it.
A lot of vocal lines in the rears- somewhat anti-capitalistic lyrics on track: Rich -with ample use of Cowbells for percussion.

Favourite tracks- ‘Land of The Blind', and 'Pour Another .
Album makes me feel like I am sitting in a pub with some Geezer sucking down Pints bemoaning aspects of iife and makng observations with his mates sittng around me chiming in- set to music.
I guess that makes it somewhat ATMOSpheric.
