Listening now to this stereo 24/96 download from HDTracks, Pink Floyd The Wall. The overall tone and midrange is so much better than the Japanese RBCD 16/44.1 that I have.
DR's are predominantly 13's, 14's, 15's. If you happen to look all the versions there really isn't a bad one.

Also bought this one, haven’t had a chance to do a serious listen yet but what I heard was great. This may be the week to do that…..

Just how ironic would it be if this particular recording had been brickwalled?!

Taking advantage of Bandcamp First Friday
Robert Reed The Ringmaster Part Two while I await the physical media.
Lowbelly Battre Pour Ton Droit
Shandon Empty Clubs Acoustic Sessions
Ubi Maior Bestie, Uomini e Dèi
Thank You Scientist Party All The Time

and looking at some other stuff

Neil Young-Landing On Water, stereo 24/192. Kind of synthy, quirky and weird, I like it.
Originally released in 1986, this FLAC released by HDTracks Feb 2022. DR's are 12's, 13's, 14.

This ia an absolute beautiful recording, really can hear the beautiful sonics throughout. I noticed in Discogs comments that many people comment how good the recording sounds, all versions.
I noticed there is also a Quad LP version also. I show the Quad cover below.
Roberta Flack-Killing Me Softly-1973, re released as FLAC download in 2012. Stereo 24/192. DR's are 9, 10's, 11's, 12, 13.

Loreena McKennitt - The Visit 5.1 Mix is stunning. Putting her voice in the center channel and pulling out the subtle instruments and giving them space to be heard is fantastic. I hope they do a couple more of her earlier albums. Her latest few records have not grabbed me like her earlier stuff.

I like it. New music from John Mellencamp-Strictly A One-Eyed Jack with Bruce Springsteen on 3 tracks.
John's voice has certainly gotten raspy I assume from cigarette smoking?
FLAC Stereo, 24/96. DR's are 7's, 8's, 9's, 10's.

Ever since I bought the DTS CD of "Growing Pains", I've loved Billie Myers. This album is listed on Discogs but no copies for sale, I found that it was available as a download from Bandcamp. It only cost a minimum of $5.00! Well it's an excellent recording content wise. It is a bit compressed though DR value of 8. I played it through the QSD-1 (surround mode) and it sounds fantastic almost discrete!

Love her albums. I'll have to get this and play it through the SM2

Korn-Requiem, stereo 2022 release. 24/96, DR's are 3's, 4's, 5's.
24 bit? I hope it helps over a 16 bit CD?
Wow squashed and over compressed, I wish they wouldn't do that. I really like the sound of this release, good music, but unfortunately the sonics come out of the speakers and just kind of stops, the only help is to turn it up loud. Probably will sound better in the car.
