Spring and Summer 2020-- Continue to mix more Dolby Atmos titles for Universal Music Group. Some of the artist I've had the pleasure to mix in this amazing new format are, The Band, Imagine Dragons, Fallout Boy, The Killers, Steve Miller Band, Smokey Robinson, Camper Van Beethoven, James Bay, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Brett Young, Jon Pardi, Billy Currington, Darius Rucker, Florida Georgia Line, Sugarland and so many more!!

Summer-Fall 2019-Winter 2020-- Ive had the pleasure of mixing hundreds of old classic songs for the new Dolby Atmos format for Universal Music Group. Listening to music this way has transformed the listening experience completely! Stereo now sounds like mono!! Some of the artist I've remixed are: Supertramp, Blondie, Ariana Grande, Billy Idol, Pat Benatar, Sam Smith, John Mellencamp, Tears For Fears, Weezer, Lana Del Ray, Snow Patrol, Smashing Pumpkins, Rob Zombie, Rush, The Band, Steve Miller Band, Glen Campbell, Avicii, Lionel Ritchie, The Killers, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Lorde, Sheryl Crow, Gloria Gaynor, Red Rider, Luke Bryan, Toby Keith and many more.
Supertramp? Yes please! Steve Miller Band? Amen to that! Rush? Well, we'll have to see about that. Really REALLY hoping for a Steven Wilson 40th Anniversary mix of Moving Pictures this year.

Has anyone heard any of Mills Logan's mixes to see if he's got the goods?

He's done some fantastic Dolby Atmos mixes. Stuff like Sheryl Crow - All I Wanna Do, Nelly Furtado - I'm Like A Bird and Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe. Really good surround. Plus The Temptations track is fantastic!

There's one song that has a technical error on it. James Brown - Superbad. The main vocal is in the rear channels. But that might not be down to the actual mixing rather a Tidal upload error or something?

Really looking forward to hearing some of the other stuff like Supertarmp, Steve Miller Band etc, etc!

OK, good, I have listened to most of those and agree they are very good. I didn't realize he had done those mixes. This is really good news. Glad to see more and more mixers getting the most of what Atmos can offer for music. And it's only going to expand from here.

Universal come on release them on Blu Ray

I'm gonna repeat myself here: this is what the top of this list (aka Now Available) looks like even on an old laptop with W7:

You can only see atmos content if you're looking on an atmos capable device.

That isn't entirely true. I have been able to view some of the releases on the web site and I don't have an Atmos processor. Some I have trouble finding (REM, Ramones) and some show up with the other editions (St. Vincent, Suzanne Ciani, Tom Petty ect). Both links you posted show up fine...

Bob Marley - Legend... :smokin

On Tidal. This is really nice and discrete like the blu ray... However doesn't feature all of the same tracks. But this is the kind of content we want to see in Atmos!

Listening to this now. The mix is excellent! And nice deep tight bass too. Not sure if they remixed from scratch or started with the 5.1 mix and just moved some things around. But definitely content in the overhead speakers.

Yeah this is an excellent Atmos release. I think it’s most likely a brand new mix. Nick Rives on the Atmos and Bob Clearmountain on the 5.1 Blu Ray from 2014. Both sound great but I think the Atmos allows you to be more involved due to extra info in the height speakers, and therefore sounds slightly better… Nick has done a great job.

Not sure what happened to the songs missing from the Blu Ray though? -

No Woman, No Cry - Could You Be Loved - Buffalo Soldier (and not as important bonus tracks) - Easy Skanking - Punky Reggae Party

Maybe there was something jamming in the Atmos mixing desk?! 😄
