I am home sick today with the common cold, (honey, I am not feeling well today, I'm going to stay in) well that worked, good to catch up on a variety of purchased music.
Josh Nelson- The L.A. Network- Dave Brubeck Redux DSD Double Rate.
These great high-end renditions of Dave Brubeck’s most memorable recordings were recorded ‘off-the-floor’ in 2 tracks at 15 ips, using the purest audiophile analog techniques, capturing the energy and joy of three brilliant young L.A. musicians playing together as one, seizing the well-known tunes, making them freshly their own.

Another recent Dave Brubeck tribute to check out in DSD, also not available on SACD, is the one by the Feenbrothers.
Recorded live at MCO in The Netherlands. Highly recommended in Stereo DSD 256 and DSD 512.

I purchased this new DSD64 release from Octave Records, PSA Audio see Link Otis Taylor, excellent release, sounds fantastic as a DSF file stereo 2020 remaster from 2015. I saw Otis Taylor a couple of years ago at Biscuts And Blues in SF, great show, I really like his haunting blues sound. For same price $29.00 you can also get the physical SACD, I did not.

A new 2021 release beautiful recording, 2.0 DSD256. DXD to DSD as explaained by 2XHDFusion
The mastering chain consists of a selection of high-end vacuum tube equipment. For the recordings on this album, the original DXD master was played on a Nagra HD DAC X high-end tube playback converter, wired with OCC silver cables to the 2xHD analog mastering electronic tube system permitting 2xHD FUSION to obtain a better resolution and 3D imaging. The resulting signal is then transferred back into high resolution formats by recording it in DXD using a custom 2xHD Technologies A to D converter. All analog and digital cables that are used state-of-theart Siltech. The 2xHD FUSION mastering system is powered by a super capacitor power supply, using a new technology that lowers the digital noise found in the lowest level of the spectrum.

After I listened to the MCH release sampler from NativeDSD, Adagio, I was mesmorized by track 11, I Was Like WOW, I just had to purchase this great trombone album in stereo DSD256. The track is a haunting verbal explanation of a soldiers memory of getting severly injured by a mine. Listen to this and Metallica's One and well, you'll figure it out.
Also available in DSD64 5 channel.

Manhattan Stories from 2xHD and Resonance Records captures the always-extraordinary saxophonist and flutist Charles Lloyd in 1965. Leading a remarkable and previously unreleased quartet featuring three jazz giants: guitarist Gábor Szabó, bassist Ron Carter and drummer Pete La Roca.
This is one really hip release. Mine is DSD256 stereo, 3 tracks DR's 14, 16, 11.

Listening now to the 2015 DSD64 download from Acoustic Sounds. I used to really like when Acoustic Sounds offered there download service, but I think they just wanted to go all in on vinyl reproduction, no side projects.
Turn Of A Friendly Card, DR's are 13, 14's, 15, 16. wanted to spin this and compare to the 2023 release.
