Mix is a lot like Bitches Brew. Lots of good Quaddy separation of many of the parts.
Sonics are sometimes quite good, but sometimes very "raw" sounding. Like, you can hear MEGA hum from John McLaughlin's guitar amp sometimes.
IMO, this gives this thing a VERY live feel. Like All the World's a Stage, by Rush. No doctoring. Just raw, live.
The instruments seem to be recorded and mixed just fine. This was just a loud, noisy band. This recording gets that across.
