Currently listening to the Dutton Vocalion sacd Rick Derringer - All American Boy / Spring Fever - love the quad mix and 2 great 70's rock albums on 1 disc, what a guitar player Rick is !

That's why I purchased the lp back in the day. Didn't know who they were but that strange cover did it for me. The inner photo on Captain Beefheart's Safe as Milk is another doozy.

R.E.M. - Automatic For The People
in Atmos



I’ve really grown to like this album. I was never much of a fan actually, I liked some of their hits, but didn’t ever buy anything until some of their surround releases. I had to get this release because of the Atmos mix, and I’ve always thought “Everybody Hurts“ was one of their better songs. I know I’ve played this album more frequently because of the Atmos mix but I think their music has matured, both in content and arrangements. So I now have a favorite R.E.M. album....and it’s because they released it in Atmos!
