Haven't followed this thread for a few weeks. You guys have pulled out the big guns. Steely Dan, Secret Treaties, Rick Derringer, Moodies, BS&T, Boz Scaggs, Atom Heart Mother and loads of classical discs that are tantalizing. Lute!!!

Here are some of the surround things I've been spinning in the last month:

Plastic Ono Band
Year of the Cat
Goat Head Soup
A
Bernstein: Mass 3 Q8
Blood, Sweat & Tears' Greatest SQ
Carnival - Sergio Mendes Japan SQ
Bermuda Triangle - Tomita Japan CD-4
Subotnick: Sidewinder Q8

all others are SACD multis:
BTO I (IMHO, their best)

Body Talk - George Benson

Soul Box - Grover Washington

Pentatone Classics 5186 043 (various)

Concertos for Lute & Orchestra - Julian Bream

Bach: Goldberg Variations - Glenn Gould (Zenph re-recordings of 1955 album)

Copland: Appalachian Spring (complete ballet-1st recording) - Copland/Columbia Chamber Orch & Copland Rehearses (SACD 2ch layer only; originally 7" 2ch vinyl incl. w/both 2ch & SQ LP's) & Chavez: Four Suns & Selections from Piramide - Chavez/LSO

Dvorak: Symphony 6 - Davis/LSO

Falla: Three-Cornered Hat, Dukas: La Peri - Boulez/NY Phil

Haydn: Mass in Time of War - Bernstein/Scribner Choir & Symphony 96 Bernstein/NY Phil

Haydn: Symphonies 93,94 & 95 - Bernstein/NY Phil

Mahler: 8 & 10 - Thomas(hefsky)/SF

Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto #2, Saint-Saens: Piano Concerto #2, Falla: Nights in the Garden on Spain - Rubenstein, Ormandy/Philadelphia

Rachmaninoff: Symphony 2, Scherzo & Dances from Aleko - Jarvi/Cincinnati

Ravel: Daphnis et Chloe w/Camarata Singers & Stravinsky: Song of the Nightingale - Boulez/NY Phil

Rheinberger: Two Concertos for Organ & Orch. - Biggs/Peress/Columbia Symphony (w/Biggs' mini-discourse)

Shostakovich: Symphony 5 - Rostropovich/LSO

Stravinsky: Firebird (complete 1910), Rite of Spring - Boulez/NY Phil

Stravinsky: Petrushka (1911 version), Pulcinella Suite, Scherzo Fantastique, Symphonies of Wind Instruments - Boulez/NY Phil

Stravinsky: Rite of Spring & Symphony of Psalms - Bernstein/LSO

I previously bought about half of this list on analog Quad formats.
VERY IMPRESSIVE, Linda.

For the past few days, I have been 'plowing' through this fantastic box set entitled THE SIR COLIN DAVIS ANTHOLOGY from LSO consisting of 8 SACDs, 4 CDs and a DVD with a glossy booket. And it's still available at a VERY decent price from AmazonUK:

Linda, is the Atlantic Records CD~4 of the Modern Jazz Quartet's LAST CONCERT discrete? I've been considering the Warner/Atlantic UHQ MQA encoded CD. Though of course not surround, I have found the UHQ~CD MQA encoded discs to have EXCEPTIONAL remastering.

Carpenters SINGLES 1969~1981 [A&M/UMG/Multi~CH SACD] Every once in awhile I need a dose of sunshine and this phenomenol sounding multi~CH SACD personally remixed by Richard Carpenter from the original A&M multis fits the bill nicely. And sadly, the last time those Carpenter Multi tracks were utilized as they perished a few weeks later in the Universal Fire!🔥
