Jethro Tull "Songs from the Wood" (DTS DVD 5.1 mix)

Good evening. What are the "members" thoughts on this Tull box set. I have the "Minstrel" box set and LUV it. especially the live set. I was looking at buying a used copy of the "Songs" box set as I was very interested in the Steven Wilson 5.1 DVD and live set(s) but did NOT realize that it was now fetching north of 3 Benjamins! Please, brutally honest feedback to help me in my quandary. Thanks!

It's the top-rated Tull release on our poll thread for a reason. Have you perused the POLL? I'd also peep this THREAD and notice how many people include it in their top 5. Finally, i would NOT spend $300 on it. I would wait patiently and follow the @edisonbaggins patented LiS "seek and ye shall find" method, meticulously checking discogs, ebay, amazon, et al. In the meantime, enjoy all the surround you already have, and you never know what might come your way! Stay Surrounded, Comrade!

Thanks for the "POLL" and "THREAD" links as they are helpful. I did try a "Jethro Tull Songs from..." search on the site but obviously these did not present themselves to my eyeballs thus my need to reach out for the members opinions, thoughts and ratings. I am a regular to Discogs, ebay, Amazon an EIL and as already mentioned, ALL currently listed items are in the stratosphere and I realistically don't see that situation changing anytime soon. Fortunately, I do have MUCHO surround to keep my ears ocupado but the audiophile/collector in me say's "ahora y pronto" with a side of "rapidamente por favor!"

A GREAT description! The main album is 9 cuts clocking in at 43:48, and then comes the treat of 14 bonus cuts clocking in at 1:05:05! Long Live Rock! I hope you LOVE the set as much as i do! For me, it was worth the wait and the money. I'm definitely gonna need a BIGGER shopping cart! Stay Surrounded, Comrade!
