My copy of Alan Parsons Project - Ammonia Avenue dropped on the mat this morning, so after wiping down the envelope, opening it and wiping the Blu-ray enclosed within just incase the person packing it had sent me a freebie (Corona Virus) The disc is in the player, I'm going to re-set the level adjustments I made listening to the Marillion Script disaster. Selected 5.1 LPM from the menu and off we go..... Oh my goodness that is how things should be, an amazingly good surround mix and lovely clear sound. FANTASTIC I'm going to be listening to this a lot.

and the Carpenters in Surround bring me right back up again. More songs at which I scoffed in my youth that now bring me joy . . . POLL

I wouldn't be seen anywhere near the Carpenters music, back in my mis-spent youth Clem.
They were my mother's favourites though.

And now look at me...can't get enough of all this surround goodness!!
How times and tastes have changed!!

After spending most of today trying, unsuccessfully, to get the Involve Sound Master to record 4Ch through the UMC404HD, via Audacity in Windows 10. (Could get stereo only!!...grr)

I'm gonna relax this evening with first off, ELO's Zoom
Sound only...great mix too.
Although I've up-mixed all my ELO albums, it's hard to beat this masterpiece.

This one does Ferry well in the POLL

I would have loved a 5.1 of Bête Noire. I love that album as much as Boys And Girls. I was also fortunate to see Bryan live during the Bête Noire Tour and left with one of the soundboard cassettes.

Steve Miller - Fly Like An Eagle

I sure wish they had made this a two for with... Book Of Dreams !
Book of Dreams was supposedly recorded the same time as Fly Like an Eagle. Too bad they couldn't Mix them both at the same time for quad as well.
