Yes, but I would have to use the USB input in order to enjoy DSD 128. That means, dragging my laptop into the living room or getting a very long USB cable. :yikes

iPad. Nope. iPad and iPhone are the same operating system. And you would need a USB output. There is a program jRiver that you can load onto a Macbook to play FLAC, WAV, DSD, etc.

You can use an iPad or iPhone with a computer like a PC or Mac and a program like JRiver Media Center. With JRiver you would also need to buy JRemote which adds the ability to control your music library and DAC via the iPad and iPhone.
