"Using the Sansui QRX-9001, I decoded the CD4 front and rear channels of "Bad Moon Rising". [The FosgateTate II shown is for SQ matrix decoding]. Surprisingly, the front channels decoded, have a pretty close sound to the original single, but in true stereo. If you downloaded the video I had up last year, that was also taken from the CCR Quad Lp, but with all four channels together, hence the awful sounding dual tracked vocals. Here are the rear channels only, you'll see what I'm talking about. The vocals are a mess. By the way listen to this " neat" sample of the rear channels from "I Heard It Through The Grapevine". The back ground vocals are prominent, Those other CCR'ers sure have deep voices. So, finally it's a first time wide stereo REAL!! "Bad Moon Rising".[download here]"
