Oldfield just posted on Facebook:

Coming soon....
Tubular Bells
Live in concert
The 50th anniversary experience

No other info given.

Seems a little premature. The album was released in 1973. However if you want to get technical, he started composing it in 1971 and recording sessions began in 1972.
By the way, where did you see it? I'm in Mike's group in Facebook and saw nothing about this gig

The chatter in the Mike Oldfield Facebook groups is suggesting that “Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells” is different from “Mike Oldfield performing Tubular Bells” and that what this might be is some sort of performance that’s officially sanctioned by the retired musician in Bermuda.

Yes, it is now appearing that's what this is. The performances are sanctioned by Mike, but he will not appear himself.

And welcome to QQ Geoff!
