Important to note that these are not 100% quad. Note the details with each release. Regardless, amazing stuff.....
Indeed, The Hoople while maybe not the greatest quad mix on earth, the album rates as I think their best album. A real knockout!!! Ans it is indeed Rock & Roll!!!

BTO II with the two big hits will be amazing to crank loud as well.

I got those rock 'n rolls again!!

Soul Box will sound good I'm sure. They would not move on that if the tapes weren't pretty darn great.

now i've got my initial excitement under control (!) 🤯 i can say Burton Cummings' 1st solo LP is one of my absolute most-hoped-for Quads that DV might do! --and here it is bundled in with another two albums!! wowzers!!!! 😱😱

the Burton Cummings Quad LP is one of those super-bright sounding latterday CBS SQ LPs and the Q8s dull as ditchwater by comparison, so it will be interesting to hear Mister Dutton's approach.. did he go bright and beautiful or did he go warm and gooey! 💘😂

also the surround mix of Burton Cummings is a bit unusual for CBS in that it has a fair few vocals-all-round style tracks rather than lead vocals upfront only as was customary for them. however never fear ye fellow separation snobs because in all other respects the Quad is up to their usual discrete-o-matic mixing standards!!

oh man... i just cannot wait to hear this one (and maybe even find out - at last - who mixed the Quad! the SQ LP gives no specific Quad info so DV might have solved a 45 year mystery!) 🤞

Adam you’re, as always, a font of quad historical information! An you’re also a 45+ year unsolved mystery, to boot!

Yeah Clement, you mainline this stuff LOL! Of course, you’ll probably have listened to all of these releases before the calendar flips over to February!
Yeah, MORE was always my drug of choice; however, given the current state of affairs on the postal delivery front, i'll be lucky to have them by the Ides of March! Back to listening–i'm on my fourth disc today . . . i really do have a problem. . . .
