THE NEW 8 DISC DELUXE BOOK-SET AVILABLE VIA KSCOPE FEATURING NEW BRUCE SOORD REMASTERS AND DOLBY ATMOS MIXES

“This box set covers the first 5 albums and all the associated bonus material from when I started The Pineapple Thief in 1999 through to 2006. Opening the old sessions was like opening a very large window into my former self. This box set has taken a strange emotional toll. Where did the drive, the dedication, the obsession come from? Did I take it too far? How on earth did my girlfriend stick around through it all to eventually become my wife? Opening up the sessions I could remember how I would spend hours experimenting. I was like a child, everything seemed to be a new discovery. So here it is. The first epoch of The Pineapple Thief.” - Bruce Soord, 2022

Kscope are proud to present, the first in a series of deluxe book-sets cataloguing The Pineapple Thief’s tremendous output. The first instalment focuses on the bands’ humble beginnings with Abducting The Unicorn in 1999 through to Little Man in 2006.

The Pineapple Thief are one of the leading lights of Europe’s experimental rock domain, led by post-progressive mastermind Bruce Soord, the band have built an incredibly loyal fanbase over the past 23 years through extensive touring and consistently lauded recordings. Founder Bruce Soord started The Pineapple Thief as an outlet for his music back in 1999 and has since released over 15 studio albums.

For How Did We Find Our Way, all albums were meticulously remastered by Bruce over a period of months using painstaking methods to salvage early material thought lost. The blu-ray comes with all albums in Dolby Atmos & 5.1 Surround Sound quality for the first time which proved to be a huge undertaking for Bruce. In recalling the original stems to create new mixes, Bruce states “the Atmos mixes in this box set could be played in anything from a huge theatre with 100 speakers, in an enthusiasts home setup with perhaps 8 speakers through to something much more straightforward such as a soundbar or even streamed to headphones.” - a spectacular audio treat for fans.

At the centre of this package is a 64-page book featuring previously unseen, rare photographs from Bruce’s personal archive along with superb liner notes from Anil Prasad and interviews with Bruce.

This deluxe set features the following albums:

CD1: Abducted at Birth (1999)
CD2: One Three Seven (2002)
CD3: Variations on a Dream (2003)
CD4: 8 Days (2003)
CD5: 10 Stories Down (2004)
CD6: 8 Days Later (2004)
CD7: Little Man (2006)
Blu-ray: all albums + bonus tracks in Dolby Atmos & 5.1 Surround Sound – all mixed by Bruce Soord himself.

Yes!! And the first in a series. Will order this when it becomes available at JPC or Plato.

I always enjoy the TPT bonus tracks and albums along side the regular albums. The bonus stuff is most of the times as strong as the amin albums. This will be great.

Thanks to all those involved. It has been a long time since the days of the old TPT forum where Bruce was making his first steps into surround :)

Ordered from Burning Shed. Seems like a real bargain for the 8 Dolby Atmos on their own, never mind the 8 CDs as well.

Hopefully my order will be among the first 500 from Burning Shed to receive the signed print from Bruce Soord.
