With all of the Surround Sound formats - streaming (stereo to Atmos etc.) - physical media (LP, Tape, CD/DVD/[UHD]Blu-ray etc.) - digital storage (USB, HD etc.) I think it would be useful to have a place to list currently available Receivers that decode (hopefully all) Surround Sound formats (QS, SQ, CD-4, DD, DTS, MCH DSD, TrueHD, Atmos etc.)

The list would include specific make and model numbers and the country where the Receiver is authorized for sale in addition to all of the formats decoded.

After some research - most A/V Receiver manufacturers:

Anthem Anthem® / Premium Audio Video Receivers & Powered Amplifiers
Arcam Arcam | bringing the best possible sound into people’s lives
Denon Denon™ Home Theater | Enhance the Entertainment Experience
Integra HOME | INTEGRA HOME THEATER
Marantz Marantz™ - Quality Receivers, Amplifiers, & Hi-Fi Components
NAD NAD Electronics | High Performance Hi-Fi and Home Theatre
Onkyo AV Receiver & Home Audio Solutions | Onkyo USA
Outlaw Outlaw Audio
Pioneer [Elite] SX-10AE - Pioneer Home USA
Rotel Rotel
Sony Sony Electronics - Televisions, Audio, Cameras, Mobile, Video Cameras
Yamaha https://usa.yamaha.com/

Denon & Marantz https://www.soundunited.com/
Integra & Onkyo & Pioneer [Elite] https://11tradingcompany.com/

(I bought 4 different Pioneer receivers since 1989, I'm happy with the performance and features on all of them, I currently use the SX-2300[DynaQuad], VSX-D514[DPL2,DD,DTS] and the VSX-534[DS,DD,DD+,TrueHD,Atmos(5.1),DTS(HD,HD-M,X),(MCH)DSD])

Anyone with experience with the other brands in the above list?

...as users shift from audio equipment...to devices like smartphones for streaming services.

Maybe the future is smartphone + stereo amplifier + [Hafler/DynaQuad passive speaker matrix decoder], it would be inexpensive yet introduce smartphone users to surround sound.
