Elektra EQ-5051, from 1973.
Looking back, The New Seekers--in no way to be confused with the original outfit that had the lovely Judith Durham singing folk and pop in her special way--were kind of a 'pre-ABBA,' if this comp and their biggest European hits are any indication. But, they were mostly a contrivance, and remembered stateside for only a few top ten hits, my fave being their cover of Melanie's "Look What They've Done To My Song, Ma."
Decided to toss this one in, just for a change of pace....
Side 1:
1. Look What They've Done To My Song, Ma
2. Beautiful People
3. Nickel Song
4. A Perfect Love
5. Never Ending Song Of Love
Side 2:
1. I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing(In Perfect Harmony)
2. Tonight
3. Evergreen
4. Circles
5. Beg, Steal Or Borrow
6. Dance, Dance, Dance
