new stylus options for Empire 4000Diii ?

Hi wondering what options there are for the 4000Diii that will decode CD4?

Well, any of the "D" (I, II, III, or 440D) styli will work but none are easy to find anymore. JICO has one they claim works and there may be other aftermarket ones claiming the same but I have only ever used Empire styli so I don't know.

I did try an aftermarket one once but it didn't work. It may have been old or had the wrong tip on it.

About the only thing you can do is buy one, try it, and return it if it doesn't work.

I do have a new Jico stylus here, and an original Diii cart + stylus, but no CD4 decoder. If I ever get ahold of one I will post my test results
