Unless you’re looking for something specific to vintage Quad, for about the same price or a bit more, you should consider an amp from the last 15 years. You’ll also want to consider what you need from an amp, to connect whatever gear you use for playing music.

Edit: I forgot, if I have it right, you were wanting to decode your SQ and QS records. It depends on what you want to do.

Perhaps the right Quad amp, in your budget would work. But be aware old gear can break down, unless you know how to fix it or willing to spend money for repair. Different Quad amps have better decoders than others. Some of the fun here, can be to find working gear at Thrift stores, garage sales, etc., when trying to save money.

Ya'.... where would they be?🤔

Inside - It's basically just a cheap table radio! If anyone were interested they could easily find out about this thing with a quick Google search, including plenty of pictures showing the side mounted stereo speaker grilles...

4 external speakers can be connected (via RCA plugs!) which defeat the internal speakers when selected.

Talk about a waste of time... lol going to the effort of getting quad sources to play through a glorified table radio. Real immersive huh? Seems like anyone who wanted quad in the 1st place would want to connect and properly place external speakers- save a few bucks and skip those wimpy illogical inner cones. But maybe the marketing guys over-ruled the engineers...
