I spent some time with these three albums tonight. McCartney is quite good. Even the fidelity seems to have been enhanced. Some tracks are better than others, and I cant quite say its a great Atmos mix, but its certainly a great surround mix. Looking forward to more of Sir Paul's catalog.

Halfway through II now. This album was always a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. But DIY albums have always set with me well for some reason.

Haven’t played this album in decades but I like it even more now than back in the day. Ahead of its time really. And the surround mix here is quite nice. Suits the material well. Kudos Giles!

III—my favorite of the trilogy in terms of the material. I was hoping a remix might result in backing off the ear-splitting brickwalling. Sadly no. Maybe most of that was done when recording the basic tracks? In any case, the surround is fine, but still a harsh listen.

I never explored that album when I was going through his solo stuff. I know My Love from back in the day and never cared much for that one.
