Hi,
one of our local radio stations has a stream in Dolby Surround 5.1. According to the fact sheet is formatted in 'Enhanced AC-3'. Most of the time it is simple stereo but now and then they are sending real 5.1. The stream/fact sheet is announzed in this Article (German text). This is the Link to the manifest.
I was not able to find a stream player which can cope with this. The only one is an older version of RarmaRadio. It plays normally, but records an mp3 file with one third of the speed and three times the length. Sometimes it records a flac file. This is not a real one, only the 'Switch Plus' converter from NCH is able to transform it in a multichannel wav file.
Has someone a hint for a stream player/recorder which is able to cope with that?
Kind regards, Hans
