Wow that's great! This is one I'll watch on the big screen downstairs & give it my full attention. As Morris Day would say, " I think I'm gonna need a drink".
It's on a DVD in the new Sign ☮ the Times box. It's a monster box set so I haven't had time to listen and watch all of it yet, but what I have sampled so far has been amazing. I wish that Prince's state would give Steven Wilson his wish and let him have a crack at doing some surround mixes.
I believe Prince lived for, and possibly died for, shows like this. Lots of dancing, jumping off risers etc.; which led to back pain and to the pain killers, and a final fateful ride in an elevator.
If when I was a little kid, knowing what I know now; and my cousin asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up... I'd say well Dupree, I wanna be a gitar player in a Funk-Rock band.
I just feel extremely deprived that I never got to experience one of his shows live; and now even more deprived with the fact there's no decent surround mixes for Prince's music.
Does it have the legendary 1985 Syracuse concert with it?
That is in the Purple Rain deluxe edition.

The DVD is 16bitPCM sound
not good quality sound.
Miles is overdubbed on one track of a CD.
But appears live on the 31st Dec. 1987
on the Final track for about 6mins.
I hate the Box Set design Made in West Germany WEA
All the CD's are scratched.
