30 players so far...

No numbers in the 700-799 range have been selected yet! Lots left in the 800's too.

Is the phrase "door prize" a strictly US thing? Never heard it before. Is it an opportunity to win a door?
You don't have door prizes over there? The phrase usually refers to a prize given to a patron when they enter an establishment (through a door), if they're the 100th or 1000th or one millionth (or whatever) patron to do so. I'm not sure why QQ adopted this phrase for giveaways like this. Lottery would be more appropriate, but all the other similar giveaways were called door prizes so I felt obliged to do the same.

A very generous offer- however by the end of page two I was thinking 'Nobody's chosen anything in the 700's yet, I'll go with... '- then on page three came 'No one's picked in the 700's yet'- the odds got skewed, and the number I was thinking of was chosen! Now I'm going to have to pick a number and manipulate the stock market to land on it. Starts to seem easier to buy a copy.

What the hell, I'll still play. Make mine 749. Time to call my broker, if I had one.

Well, at this point the numbers are surprisingly well distributed!
