Many of you will be aware that Rob Reed's second solo album "Sanctuary II" is now in pre-order for a June 10th release.

Like Sanctuary I, it's very much in the style of Mike Oldfield, one of Rob's favourite artists.
To promote the album Rob recently released an EP featuring two re-mixes of the single "Marimba", taken from the album, a video of one of them can be found here:

As a special "thank you" for ongoing support from QQ members for his surround mixes, Rob has re-mixed the two versions of "Marimba" from the EP in surround and made them available as free flac downloads from his Dropbox!
They provide a great "taste" of the album itself, are presented un-mastered, straight from Rob's mixing desk and sound very nice indeed!

As you know, Rob has an intense passion for surround as a format and has made mixes of several Magenta albums, his Kompendium and Kiama projects and Sanctaury I available as surround releases.
Sanctuary II was conceived with surround in mind and it really shows. The mix is highly discrete, very active, immersive and uses surround to enhance the musical experience.
Enjoy the freebies!
