In fact, he asked me if he thought these would sell at AK and I told him that if I had that pile I would bring it here first to people who will truly appreciate it.

I’d bite but I have almost all of these already. The PR401QS test record is not so easy to come by, definitely worth picking up.

How about Abraxas for starters. Any info on condition?

I'm aware you mentioned >90% are NM, but just wanted to check.

Just rechecked and Santana abraxas is EX vinyl and still VG cover.

Swan lake is NM vinyl (albeit a bit dusty) and VG to VG+ cover.

Wagner Brahms is NM vinyl and EX cover.

Kites are fun is NM all around.

For the record, I'm quite surprised there are not more quad vinyl offerings here. Maybe it's due to fanatics holding on to their collections? Small forum audience?

Methinks if most of us had any to get rid of, it would be lesser condition duplicates that are likely not worth the postage. I buy extras when they are cheap at thrift stores, and by accident or faulty memory. Postage has gone up over the last couple years all round the world. Also, the rare stuff ain't getting easier to find.

Even with a grade most seconds aren't worth the postage. Also, your grade and mine might be very different. I also don't use ePay to sell my copies. I would rather give them locally or toss them. On QQ, I would maybe consider giving them for postage but that is still expensive.

I'm actually curious what percentage of QQ members have a setup to play analog quad material. In fact, I kind of suspect it's mostly people who are old enough to have been buying at the time, with occasional exceptions. I'd be all over the Columbia classical quads but I don't have an analog setup.

I am only old enough to remember my Grandfather tell me as a kid in the 70's that in his Muntz stereo shop that quad returned twice as fast as stereo. Quad always fascinated me but didn't hear it until I got my own gear for 4 channels about 12 years ago. I am 47 and the only dirgital in my system is an Oppo.

Which albums do you have left, if any? Definitely interested in one of the test records if still available.
