I have the DVD-A and many of the singles/b-sides already (including the alternate "Leave," but R.E.M. is my second favorite band, so I preordered it without a second thought.

Is there a reason why Automatic for the people got the Atmos treatment and the others are sticking with the 5.1, or is it just about cost?

Don't have the DVDA, and for some reason, am not familiar with this album. Must have slipped through the cracks back then. Is this another Elliot Scheiner mix? I'll probably go for this. Don't care about the lack of Atmos.

Yes it’s an Elliot Scheiner mix and a very good one at that too! :)

Hopefully the mix/mastering on the Blu-Ray is the same as the DVD-Audio because they altered the mix on the Monster Blu-Ray and screwed it up IMHO
