Besides the Python material I just learned he also wrote the screenplay for one of my fave movies Labyrinth starring David Bowie. Sad news indeed. John Cleese said "two down, four to go."

Woke up to the sad news on my radio alarm clock this morning. Terry Jones was a comic genius and a great medieval scholar who concentrated his studies on the lives of common people. The world is a lesser place without him.

He was "a very naughty boy". Just watched Life Of Brian. So sad that style of humor seems to be in the past. RIP Terry,

Python is one of my pillars of culture. I knew he was ill, so this came as no surprise. I am grateful for the wealth of merriment he left behind. "And that, my liege, is how we know the earth to be banana-shaped..."

It's taken me awhile to get over his passing. His humour, wit and all round ability, is a rare thing to find in most of us. One in a million he was.
I did give up eating wafer thin mints though!!!

Did you ever read “Animal Farm”? “Every sperm is special” but the life’s work of Terry Jones tells us that some sperm is more special than others!
