We have a signed and framed poster of the Chicago Blues Reunion members, incl Sam Lay, Barry Goldberg, Harvey Mandel, Nick Gravenites, Corky Siegel and others. We caught Chicago Blues Reunion live at the Arcada in St. Charles, IL. Got to meet Gravenites afterward. I went to grade school w/his cousin.

Buried Alive is available on CD and/or DVD-V. It was recorded at Fitzgerald's in Berwyn, IL. Both QQ member Sal1950 and I grew up a few blocks from there.

I recommend early Butterfield records or the 2 LP (or CD) of Fathers & Sons. There is also an expanded CD of F&S. Besides Lay, it features Muddy Waters, Duck Dunn, Bloomfield, Butterfield, Buddy Miles, & Otis Spann. 1969 album of some killer sessions at Chess.
