Fisher 504 Quadraphonic Receiver (1973)

Rarity: SCARCE
Average Sale Price: $100.00
That average price I've mentioned is probably closer to a maximum....From the info I've read it seems these aren't too highly prized and people won't pay a lot for them.

The 504 was Fisher's Top of the line Quad Receiver replacing the Model 801 in 1973. Visually, it looks a bit more downmarket than the model it replaced...especially with the cheap looking plastic slider controls.

The 504 was updated (..no idea what was changed) and became the 514....

Tiny info update to my original post....

The Fisher '14 range Quad Receivers, which replaced the 304/404/504 Model's above, added a CD4 Decoder to the onboard decoding. They also went (..massively!!) up in price. The Model 504 went from a hefty $599.95 listed in the 1973 ad above to a seriously (..maybe fatally??) substantial $749.95 for the Model 514 listed in the 1975 Stereo Directory & Buying Guide.

Otherwise the '14's look mostly identical to the previous range.
