K-3 - the Flemish answer to the Spice Girls have done a number of direct-to-videos from their various tours - and a number of direct-to-video musicals as well

Here is the opening medley and the closing medley of the same show

The infectious pop music lends itself well to the Dolby 5.1 surround tracks which have a number of things bouncing around in the surrounds and from front to surround and etc.

You don't need to understand the Flemish/Dutch to get the general gist of the pieces as they are all commentaries on well known childrens' fairytales - but if you understand Scots as well as English -
or you recently played in Brigadoon in your community theatre then you'll get about 3/4 of the Flemish - and if you have a passing familiarity with Scandinavian languages you'll be able to pick up a lot more.

Most of the time I think mash-ups only work for a moment then the masher uses a hammer to try to get the rest of it to work. This one works perfectly throughout. Surprisingly so.

Would love some more industrial/drum n' bass type stuff in real surround. Here's a classic:

Another interesting video from Nigel Stanford: (I contacted him and although his website is selling his videos, non are in surround - his previos Cymatics on the DTS Demo disc is in DTS:X but apparently that's a DTS mix hes not licensed to sell)

Love it, and they go all Pete Townshend at the end!
