Too funny!
I had never heard of Cockney rhyming slang until I read Rod Stewart’s autobiography, wherein he tries to explain it.
I still cannot follow the circuitous logic, but do get a big kick out of the concept.
The only word that stuck with me was “barnet”, which somehow means hairdo.
As you can imagine, he and his pal Ronnie Wood were quite concerned about theirs as youngsters! 💇
Barnet Fair = hair 😋🤗

Barnet Fair = hair 😋🤗
The other one I loved was watching Ray Winstone’s Sicily travel documentary, and he describes Cyclops as “a great big geezer with one mince in the middle of his head”
Fortunately the producers took mercy on us Yanks and provided a subtitle which explained “mince” is Cockney rhyming slang for “eye”
Mince Pie = Eye 👁️
